Rich Wu

Rich Wu, founding partner at CW Law, LLP, completed his undergraduate at John Jay College of Criminal Justice, New York with Magna Cum Laude where he received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. He continued on to receive his Juris Doctorate from Chapman University, Dale E. Fowler School of Law. During his time at Chapman, Mr. Wu was a recipient of the CALI Award. He was admitted to the State Bar of California in 2013.

Mr. Wu began his practice in civil litigation and criminal defense. He gained experience in all phases of litigation including initial analysis, discovery, motions, court appearances, and depositions. Prior to founding CW Law, Mr. Wu served as a Managing Attorney at a Workers' Compensation Defense firm where he was responsible for overseeing several attorneys as well as maintaining a heavy case load while still obtaining excellent results for his clients.

In 2021, Mr. Wu and Mr. Chahine founded CW Law, LLP. Their boutique, family sized defense firm is geared to serving clients with an innovative and modern approach to Workers’ Compensation defense. They believe in aggressively litigating claims and collaborating with their clients to obtain quick resolution while also meeting client needs. The founding partners have had numerous successful Take Nothing Findings and Awards/Orders granted at Trial during their careers.

Mr. Wu is well versed in California Workers’ Compensation Defense, Labor Code §132a, Subrogation, Asbestos and Environmental Exposure Claims, Fraudulent Claims, Labor Code §4553 Serious and Willful Misconduct, Labor Code §4850, Medicare Set Asides, CMS Submissions, and Covid-19 Claims.
